Majoring in Theological and Ministerial Studies

Not Many Activities – We do not have an athletic center. We do have a library and student lounge. The library is stocked with almost every book that we would need. The lounge is comfortable with couches, a table to work on homework, and a projector to watch movies. The only activity I could think of that the school provides is chapel which we have everyday.
Registration Process – The professors are amazing. Each of them seem very knowledgeable in the topic that they are teaching. They make each class session enjoyable and keep you focused on what you are studying. The curriculum is easy enough to follow. The registration process is simple enough, but is hard to find time for when you have so many other things on your plate.
Scholarships Are Important – The school has a wonderful financial aid program. They help you make sure you get all the money you can so you can afford to come to this school. The little financial aid I get, though, is all loans. I get my forms in on time but I am told that my parents make too much money. I learned that I need to make sure to look for more scholarships for next year.
My major is Ministerial Studies with a Youth emphasis. The school divides the majors usually on the emphasis. The youth classes are very helpful in teaching us how to work with youth in a religious setting. Every class I do take helps me understand the Bible more as well as youth. Each class has so far been a part of my major.
The resources on campus are decent enough. We are allowed to print on campus for a small fee. The computer labs are up to date with their programs. The network is sometimes down but is quickly brought back up. The school has wireless internet for us to use as well as a computer lab.
