Many Available Apartments
The ones close in are more expensive, but there is a "Student Ghetto" close to the downtown campus, where prices are a bit more reasonable. It all depends on what you are looking for, and if you do not mind a short subway commute, the possibilities are quite large.

Cognitive Science
I am just beginning my journey and am taking a lot of core curriculum classes this year. Thus far I have found the field to be very intellectually stimulating. I look forward to taking more classes and especially to the diversity of classes permitted in this major.

The Honor Code
McGill has strict policies about plagarism, exams and making sure that students do their own work, in general. I find this very refreshing, as some of the Ivy Leagers only do lip service to such high ideals.
