Clemson Is Very Safe
Clemson is such a happy place that nobody fears shootings or rape, etc. However, the possibility exists that it could happen. We do have campus police who we will see occasionally. There are safety phones to use to call them. All students are given the phone numbers of places to call if they need help. The police department is located near the stadium and is just a phone call away. Also, the school provides Tiger Transit from 6 p.m to 6 a.m which is a service that takes students to desired locations so they won't have to walk in the dark.

Amazing Atmosphere
The atheletics at Clemson are amazing. So maybe the football team didn't win the Orange Bowl this year. That doesn't stop the students from supporting the team. Fridays are Solid-Orange days - everyone wears an orange shirt. Game days almost feel electric with excitement. The first thing you see when you walk outside is tailgaters. Tons of them. So. Much. Orange. Everyone is so excited and happy. It feels like so much at Clemson is centered toward the sports teams. There are many exciting traditions for games, too. Although football is the biggest sport around here, people get excited for basketball and other sports as well. The school has many intramural and club sports that the students can participate in.

Like a War
The parking at Clemson is insane! There are not a lot of visitor spots, so if you're going to park on campus you better make sure you have either a temporary pass or an official student/employee/commuter pass. The student parking lots are kind of far away from classes. The employee lots are nearer to the classes, and if you park there you get a ticket. The parking services are nicknamed the Parking Nazis.
