Work-Hard, Play Hard...Most of Us Anyway
It's easy to find motivated, good-looking people at SU. Most of the people I've met are very interested and immersed in their majors (in a charming way) and yet are still willing to go out and have a good time on a Friday night. Greek life is very much fun and alive, though not mandatory for an active social life.

Obviously a Sports-Fan's Dream
Student season tickets are pretty cheap for basketball/football seasons. Lacrosse Games are free for students. School spirit thrives year-round. Work-out facilities are also widely available and have pretty good equipment. There are also a lot of opportunities to get involved in athletic/outing clubs.

High School Grades Helped Most
I did pretty well in High School and was thus able to take advantage of the Chancellor's Scholarship. There seem to be less options for middle class white males, however.
