Boring at Times
Davidson has a few local options, and with plans to develop the town further, I expect there will be more in the near future. On a student budget, the food can seem a bit overpriced but it's usually well worth it.

Does Not Exist
If you enjoy going out, there's lots to do, but you won't find drugs on campus. As with anywhere else, there's drinking anytime, but no drugs.

The Honor Code/ Housing Selection
The Honor Code at Davidson is legit. Everyone takes it very seriously (of course, I'm sure there are the few who use it to there advantage), but so many consider it to be the reason they're there. Second, the roommate selection process is very well done. The personality test left me with the perfect roommate- I couldn't have asked for a better first year housing experience. Finally, Davidson is a small school- take advantage of the oportunities to lead. So few people take the initiative to stand out that amongst 1,300 on campus students, there are plenty of opportunities to step up.
