Ways to Go, but Headed in the Right Direction

Duquesne University, although still a predominantly white demographic, has students from all over the world and from all walks of life, races, and creeds. The University takes steps to encourage a diverse student population and to allow for diverse groups to have a concrete organization and representation on campus.

Strong Presence With Lots of Events

Duquesne has a strong Greek life presence on campus. Fraternities and sororities live in their own wings in the living learning centers and have their own designated tables in the dining halls. A majority of the social and charitable events that occur on campus are in association with Greek life.

Cryptic and Slow

Having recently had my full scholarship to Duquesne discontinued, I was disappointed with the lack of response and support I received from the financial aid office. Even prior to this, however, interactions with the financial aid office online or over the phone were always lengthy and unhelpful.
