Very Safe
Not only is W&M protected by the Williamsburg Police, we are also protected by our own school police. There are multiple emergency buttons around campus, especially in the wooded path area. Emails are sent out to students to inform them of suspicious characters or incidents that have occurred on or around campus. These precautions make me feel safe enough to take middle of the night runs around campus.

You'll Have Better Luck Renting an Apartment
Housing sucks at William and Mary. Freshman are required to live on campus, but after that... good luck. There are not enough dorms for everyone to live on campus. Many students who want to live on campus get bumped off the list to choose housing due to this. A lot of students just opt to rent a house or an apartment which also provides them with the opportunity to bring their car because underclassmen aren't allowed to bring their cars.

It's Alright
The food's ok in the dining halls. The first month of school it's pretty good just to make the freshman think that they'll be able to survive here and occasionally, there will be a theme night where the food is a few steps better than it usually is, but as the year goes on it seems like they just repeat the same 5 things weekly. Weekends especially suck, you have the option of quesadillas or some kind of sandwich at the grill. Thank God for flex though, it can be used at Quiznos in the SC, in the Student Exchange for food, or at Dominos.

Getting Better
Obviously W&M is know more for academics rather than athletics, but we do have pretty decent sports teams here. Our football team is definitely improving. Tribe Pride is very strong, there are buses available for spectators to take to away games. There are also many club level teams, which provide not only a better opportunity to participate, but they also provide a better variety of sports to try.

Just park at Bloom
Because it's such a small campus, there are very few parking spaces. The parking decal price is also ridiculous. Just park at Bloom, it's free and it's about a 10 minute walk to the SC.
