Fresh or Fast
There are tons of local famers in the Kirksville area. They have lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, and dairy.
There are also a string of fast food chains and two McDonalds.
There are no Starbucks. The nicest restaurant is Ruby Tuesdays. It's a small town people but at least it fits the budget.

Nighty Night
Truman is not a party school. However, the weekends can get a little crazy. Especially at ATO with a lot of underage nightlife. Otherwise people make friends and party close to home.
Not a big party school but you can make your own fun.

Homeless
Only the fraternities have off campus houses. Sororities have room in the residence halls on campus. Campus is dry though so they are not as much fun. For the most part Greek life contributes to the party atmosphere but they are also very academic and philanthropic. As a non social Greek, they are good people for the most part.
