Drugs a Minor Problem Compared to Alcohol
Drugs in the University of Wisconsin Madison are not too serious. However, there are hundreds of students who smoke and use marijuana and hookah. It depends on who you hang out with, but for the most part, alcohol is much more prevalent than drugs.

There's No Place Like UW-Madison
I feel that UW-Madison has one of the most diverse student bodies in the nation. There is ALWAYS something to do in Madison or somewhere to go. I was NEVER bored in Madison. Of course, nothing beats Badger pride. Of course, you've got to sort your priorities and make sure studying and grades come before your social life... I had a hard time with that aspect. It took me a while to get used to the large campus and bus systems... But, in the end, I never felt more at home. Truly, there's no place like UW-Madison.

Diversity
Madison contains a diverse student body. On my floor alone, I have friends (even some best friends) from New Jersey, Illinois, Minnesota, South Korea, Japan, and India. In addition I have met students from practically every continent, state, and country. It is amazing to hear about all of their different backgrounds and cultures.
UW-Madison is prideful of its sports teams. WE ARE THE BADGERS. You haven't experienced a football game unless you've been to a Badger game.
Madison has over 300 clubs to join, plus you can make your own!
