Focusing on Major
I chose Kent State University because it has a great graphic design program. I got to start learning skills for my major in my first semester with professors who have already worked in the field.

Affordable
There seem to be a lot of apartment buildings around campus, and most of them are pretty affordable, especially compared to dorms.

Just Follow the Rules
It really depends on what kind of rules you break; if you do something minor like having a friend spend the night in your dorm room on a school night, you'll just get written up, and that's that. But if you have drugs or alcohol in your room, you'll definitely get caught.

Kent has many snow days, which students take advantage of by playing in the snow and making a giant fort behind the dorms!

You have a lot more time on school nights than in high school, so sometimes you get bored. That's what happened in this photo, when some students decorated a lounge and made a fort to watch Disney movies in.
