Is there a lot of scholarship opportunities?

Yes, although it's difficult to swim through all the paperwork required!

OSU is my number one choice right now... So I wanted to know what are the negatives about the school and such? Like what are the worst things? Would these things change my mind about the school? etc.

I couldn't think about any bad things about Ohio State that you could change your mind or make the accepted applicant decide not to attend school in Columbus campus. Let's focus about good/impressive things about Ohio State is they have well-rounded education system and the school spirit is excellent and huge! All the students go support football and basketball team every time they have home game.

one thing that you should know; Ohio State is located in the Midwest area and the weather is freaking cold almost of the time. Which it could make a big inconvenience for you to walk from your dorm to class in the morning, anyways there's still shuttle bus for students.

I don't think this would be a problem for me; I'm a New Yorker so I'm used to the same type of weather but thanks for this

Im from Mass, its not as bad at osu as home. It gets kinda dreary though

I'm thinking about visiting the campus over spring break... I was wondering if there are guided tours I can take or something like that? Or can I just walk the campus? Also do I have to pay for said tours?

There is no charge for the tour. If you call admission at any school, they will set up a guided tour. I think a tour is better than just walking around because you don't always know what to look for yourself.

there are plenty of free tours going on and the guides are very helpful and knowledgeable

I see tours going on all of the time on campus and they do a great job. I do not think they cost any money. There should be ways to schedule a tour on the UC website.

If you go onto the website you can sign up for a tour. The tours are free and they will take you around to dorms, library, dining hall, and some other services around campus

no you dont have to pay for tours

There are indeed and no they don't cost money! Look into "Pitt Pathfinders". Have fun!

You can take a scheduled tour. However, their availability may be less during spring break. There is no fee for taking a tour. You are more than welcome to tour the campus by yourself, although a guided tour would be more beneficial.

I'm not a student at UD, but I live in the Newark area- From what I understand, there are guided tours you can sign up to take on certain days. I would recommend checking the UD website to see if you can RSVP for a day when you're on spring break, or give the financial aid office a call to RSVP. I think if you wanted to you could just walk the campus, but you may get stopped by campus police if you're not with a tour group. No, you don't have to pay for tours.

You can just walk around but I would advise you to schedule a tour because the campus is so big. It is easy to do online and there are tours everyday whether it be just your family or a large group. Tours are free and you get a free drink from the dining hall too!

You don't have to pay for tours, and yes there are tours you can take

You can do a "Husky a Day" ..pretty much shadowing a student at Uconn and touring the campus. Check out their website for more info.

http://admissions.temple.edu/visit if you want a guided tour you can look here (they're free). If not you can walk around campus but won't be allowed into many buildings without a temple id

If you can I definitely recommend doing the temple experience day. You tour the school and the college you were accepted too. As well as talk with faculty about what you plan to major.

There are guided tours. Check out the website to see when tours are being given or call the college and set one up. They are free!
