Welcome Northerns!

Coming from Ohio many told me I would not be accepted. However the Southern hospitality has always been extended and I feel very fortunate to experiance their culture and learn the diversity of different regions of our country. Chosing a college 800 miles from home, not knowing anyone was a challenge but I made the best of it finding students and professors having the same interest in and out of the classrooms.

Better Than Ohio

We have some wind and rain but winters are much milder than in the North. The tornado last April was quite an experiance. We were very fortunate to have had minimal damage. We were surrounded by disaster and many were affected. The campus was efficient before, during and after.
