Not Always Sunny – The weather here is typical for the midwest and the university is very good about canceling class when weather becomes a serious issue. However the layout of the buildings make some parts of campus abnormally windy which is very unpleasant.

Commute to the City – Since NKU is a commuter school there really isn't that much nightlife on campus. However if you are willing to go into Cincinnati or the Levee there is a lot to do. There are also a few colleges in the city so parties are never in short supply. With regard to clubs, many of them in Cincinnati are 21 and older, even some restaurants on the Levee restrict admittance after a certain time to 21 and older. So if you are under 21 the options can be limited.
