Better Than You'd Think
there's plenty to do around campus. surprisingly good food, a thrift store, a place where you can go pet kittens, a great new cafe etc. oberlin isn't a huge town, but it definitely feels like enough.

Most People Don't Bring Cars but...
parking is available to those who need it. pretty much everyone who wants it CAN get a space, but the college really encourages people not to bring cars to campus. it's a little expensive too.

Merit Aid Is Great
there seems to be lots of merit aid available! i got some merit aid without even applying.
