Personal Printer Comes in Handy
The computers at Juniata have been steadily increasing in technological capability. The new Apple computers that are popping up all over campus are great. If they could just get the printer situation moving in the same direction, all would be well. However, they are considering charging for printing over a certain amount in a year, and it is already difficult enough finding a printer that works on campus.

A Nice Mix
At Juniata, you've got everyone from "jocks" to "hippies" to the kids who play D&D - and some crossover between those three. There are a good amount of attractive guys and girls, though you do see a lot of couples at Juniata, so attractive AND single people may be harder to find. Besides sports cliques, everyone really gets along with everyone. Theater people hang out with soccer players who hang out with the newspaper editors who hang out with the people who are perpetually stoned - everyone pretty much gets along.

Laid Back Policy
Unless you get caught fighting or dealing drugs, you won't receive harsh penalties. Even possession of pot won't get you kicked out (for the first time). The school will even ask its students to withdraw instead of kicking them out, for some offenses. Getting in trouble for drinking only occurs when freshmen go get wasted at an off-campus party and the Huntingdon police, not the school police, get involved.
