Library Computers
Library computers are great but the network goes down at times. It is often crowded too especially during busy hours like finals.

Parking Sucks
Parking permits are expensive, there are limited spots and often if you are not early it is very difficult to find a spot.

Personal Safety
This campus is a typical college setting and i think that students, especially freshman sometimes feel a bit too safe and relaxed here because San Diego is such a nice, friendly place. Students should be aware of their surroundings and don't become a victim. Be responsible with drinking and use common sense about your safety.

Drugs
People drink entirely too much, but it is college. Good chance of a run-in with the police esp. during big events. As far as drugs its usually just smoking common stuff.

Good Academics Boo Budget cuts!
The lower division GE classes tend to be formulaic and boring. If you read the required materials and stay current on your syllabus dates its almost redundant to go to class. Some teachers are hip to this and have random sign in sheets though. The upperclassmen classes are actually pretty fun. The teachers tend to care more and its a very open learning environment. I love going to half of my classes now. It is hard to get into classes though and many students have to crash classes. Also due to budget cuts some necessary classes are not available for students to take, or they are only offered one semester a year.
