Athletics Play a Big Role
Athletics play a big role at Nova, especially the basketball team - the members are like celebrities on campus.

It's All About Who You Know
Nightlife is 100% off-campus. Bars around school are a lot of fun but can be somewhat difficult to get into, Kelly's especially. There are always off campus parties and there is usually at least 1 party going on at the Courts every night.

What You Make of It
I love it here, the people are amazing and I am so happy I go here. That being said, you just have to remind yourself that it is not a party school, but there are always parties and fun like any other school- you just have to make the effort. Get to know people, branch out, have fun. Don't write it off

Totally Safe...Maybe to a Fault
I have never felt unsafe on campus- it's well lit and pretty open, and public safety is always nearby (a double edged sword). There is a public safety officer stationed at the entrance to the dorms every night, and you need to show your school ID to enter.

Tons of Transportation Options
Campus is small enough that everything is easily walking distance, but there is a (free) shuttle that runs on a loop throughout campus all day if you're feeling lazy. You can also call Public Safety at any time and they will come pick you up and drive you back to your dorm or wherever you need to go. There are also 2 train stations on campus, the r5 and the r100 that you can take into Philly or anywhere really for just a few bucks. Upperclassmen have cars on campus and park in Main or Pike Lots during the day.

Brand New Gym, New Buildings...
The Davis Center is the gym that students go to, it's brand new and super nice. Bartley (the business school) is also a new building that has great facilities and is most students go-to spot when they want to do work or just hang out.

Freshmen and Sophomores Live on Campus...
Freshmen and sophomores are guaranteed housing on campus. Most freshmen live on South campus, which has 6 dorms and its own dining hall. Sophomores live on Main campus- most of them in the Quad (Sheehan & Sullivan halls) or in the various other dorms on main. The quad is the preferred place to live for sophomores, though the rooms are tinyyy. Juniors have the option of moving off campus, or living in the apartments on West campus (they're reallllly nice, but you have the burden of still having to deal with public safety etc.) A lot of juniors move off campus, but a lot of them live on West too- it's a matter of personal preference.

Nonexistent
Villanova is a pretty strict school, so whatever drug use there is occurs off campus. Generally speaking, there isn't too much- kids smoke weed, like they do at every other school, but nothing too crazy.
