RPI Nightlife
RPI makes partying very safe. People walk in groups and really take care of each other. There are always designated drivers. There's no peer pressure to drink or smoke (about 26% of the student body doesn't drink and I'm one of them). The Fraternities and Sororities are really good about under aged drinking,and anytime there is under age drinking theirs always people to watch out for you and make sure you don't over do it. There are a lot of dances, game nights, movie nights too no drinking and still a lot of fun.

Strange Weather
Weather in Troy has something for everyone. The weather is crazy.It's hot one day and then below freezing the next. We had snow for Halloween and then nothing right into January. It rains about once a week, it gets extremely windy. But everyone has a favorite type of weather so RPI accommodates everyone. Also the weather rarely affects classes, the hurricane gave us a day off but that's about it.

Biomedical Engineering
I love my major! The classes are amazing and difficult. The professors are super nice and have lots of real world experience. There are lots of opportunities to meet people in my field and to meet the companies they work for. There are also a ton of lab positions and internships available for my major.
