Pizza Shops Everywhere
There are many amazing pizza shops very close to campus, as well as Jimmy Johns, Burrito places, and little cafe. All these places are very reasonable and even have deals just for students. Fast food and more chain resturants are a few miles from campus but no where the campus buses won't take you!

Cyclone Power!
Cyclone Power is something that represents Iowa State athletics. Athletics at ISU is a big part of being a student. Almost everyone attends Iowa State football games (and tailgating!) and basketball games, as well as other sports. The team sports are average but that doesn't change the attitude of the fans! The athletic facilities are awesome and helps provide more energy for the games. Iowa State has many student sections chants and cheers that make the games more like a social gathering or party rather than just a sporting event.

Fashion!
The apparel merchandising program is great! I am usually very eager to go to my classes. The instrutors are very helpful, make classes interesting, and want you to succeed. The opportunities in this program at Iowa State is outstanding; from Trend magazine (student run fashion magazine), The Fashion Show, and great internship opportunities you are bound to be successful.
