Two Letters: SF
Walking the campus of USF you'll find a huge range of people. Being in a big city like San Francisco, you'll see your fair share of fashionista girls and hipster guys with tight v-neck shirts and beards. The city is a huge magnet for any type of person as well, with free-spirited hippies to swagged out gym rats and all that comes in between. The city, and the diversity of the people in it, is well reflected on campus everywhere.

Drugs Aren't a Huge Problem
Drug usage at USF isn't all that visible, with most of those who do use drugs only doing weed. The policy is highly enforced on campus, which is why most people do those types of things away from school. Drinking, however, is much more visible, with the policy tightly enforced as well.

Not Too Knowledgable
I may not have a car to park around campus, but, based on what I've noticed from friends who do bring their car is that they constantly have to change their parking space to avoid getting ticketed from the strict enforcement of parking officers in the area. Also, I've noticed that it is really hard to find a space in the first place. For this reason, VERY few freshmen/people living on campus own a car at all. Save that for when you have your own place in San Francisco, where the parking situation is about the same.
