15 Minutes from Everything a College Student Could Possibly Need.
San Diego State University is located just outside of downtown San Diego which gives students the opportunity to fully experience college life along with enjoying the city as well. It is located 15 minutes away from the beach which always has events and things to do. Fashion Valley is a huge mall just 10 minutes away with everything a college student can need. The San Diego Chargers play just 5 minutes from the campus so whether it's college or professional there is almost always a game going on. The people of San Diego are all young at heart so college students are a welcome part of the city.

Relaxed Society of SDSU
The students at SDSU all have a relaxed sort of style and social qualities. Skateboards or beach cruiser's are the number one form of transportation around campus. Everyone is extremely friendly but not annoying. The style of girls and guys is mostly a relaxed beach style which you can find all over San Diego.

Greek Life is always trying to get new recruits it can get annoying after a while but eventually they go away. If you want to join Greek life SDSU has many unique sororities and fraternities but if not it's not that big of a deal and you can still participate in many of their activities.
