Beautiful and Always Growing
We always have construction zones. That is my only complaint about the brick-walled historically beautiful camups. I see the constant construction projects as a sign that the school is growing, always needing more dorms, smoother sidewalks, and safer roads. Because everything is maintained well, all the facilities look so clean. The gym is about five or more times the size of the YMCA I worked out in near my high school. Besides, I can grab a green tea from Starbucks on the walk back to my dorm to recharge. One of the most friendly places on campus is the Stroizer Library, fondly known as Club Stroz. The whole first floor is always buzzing with gossip allowing the second and third floors to be overflowing with space for students to get serious work done- even at 2am!

Typical Florida Stuff
In August, don't bother getting dressed or straighening your hair. That's coming from a fashion major. You will sweat through your clothes and you will carry the largest water bottle you can buy. Come November, you may be confused as to why it hasn't gotten cooler yet. It will. Nonetheless, Ive never experienced anything below 30 degrees. I like that if I have to take early classes, I can throw on a sweather at 8 am and toss it in my bag by 10 am. Oh, Florida!

Expecations Without Disapointments
It was always as is FSU was waiting for me to get here. I participated in Sorority Recruitment before classes started and met some of the most genuine girls I've ever known. Though I did not join the greek community, I have never felt excluded. The friendly atmosphere of Market Wednesdays in the Student Union and the Study Abroad fairs let me browse other ways to get involved. Tally is not a big city, so taking one loop around campus was all it took to know my way around. Ive never been lost here. The night clubs are always packed and the vintage shops are my favorite hang out. Venues constantly atract musical artists like Avicii. Those are just a few of the things I've been enjoying since I got here, but my main reasons for staying at FSU are the following. The professors are unforettable. I never thought a girly girl like myself would enjoy attending Microeconomics class. I'm serious. Finally, there is a niche for everyone. There wasn't a place for me in high school. Here, you can't easily tell who was cool in high school or how much money people have (Everyone is on financial aid and the campus is so big you couldnt possibly be found by your Regina George). The issues I faced in my home town disappeared into the relaxed enviornment of FSU, allowing me to focus on finding myself and working toward a degree.
