Facilities at Washington University in St. Louis

A+

Pretty Much Everything Is Great

They are constantly doing construction on campus to redo buildings and make them green, and buildings here are absolutely beautiful. The new dining and workout center in the residential area where freshman and sophomores live is particularly amazing. 2010-2011 is it's first year being open, and for food options, you have a grill/fryer station, mexican, indian, pizza, italian, kosher, stir fry, and a sandwich station. The new workout area above the dining room is so nice, too- each machine has it's own television! WashU really puts in the effort to make the students feel like they are living in a resort rather than on a college campus

Greek Life at Washington University in St. Louis

A

Greek Social Life

When it comes to going out on the weekends, most people go to the Fraternities but you don't have to be involved in greek life to get in. However, many other groups on campus do have parties in houses and apartments so while a majority of the social scene is on frat row, you don't have to be Greek to be social.

Parking at Washington University in St. Louis

C+

Permits Are Expensive

Permits are expensive because they want less people driving to school because it's bad for the environment. Also, there are restrictions on where you can park your car and they ticket almost every day. They forgive the first parking ticket but if you get a second ticket, you have to pay for both.
