A Little Secluded
Gustavus is located in a small town, but it has what every town needs. The restaurants are scarce, but excellent. It makes a student stay on campus, but if one needs to run to Target or bigger food chains, Mankato is only 15 minutes away.

Residential Campus
Gustavus is a residential campus, so mainly only seniors are granted off campus living. If you do get off campus, the houses are old, but a lot cheaper because of it. If a student continues to live on campus, they pay three times as much as it would cost for rent and utilities off campus.

Hometown Heroes
The athletics at Gustavus are all Division Three, but the entire campus knows each athlete individually. The players are not playing to get recognized, but are playing for their school and fans.
