What's the Jewish community like here? I know it's a Jesuit school, and I really do enjoy the Jesuit ideals, however, I don't want to feel alone in my religion. Is the Hillel active?

Small jewish community but religion isn't pressured on campus except that you have to take two theology courses.

How bike friendly is BU? Would it be a good idea to bring a bicycle?

You could say that...

:)

A lot of people ride bikes and there are bike racks everywhere, so technically it is really bike friendly. However, there have been 2 bicycle-related fatalities in the last few months, so biking at BU is pretty dangerous. If you decide to bring your bicycle, you would have to be very careful when riding it as people and cars are constantly on the streets.
