Secure, Welcomed, Informed
I always feel comfortable walking back from class late at night on KU's campus. There are clear lit paths from the campus to the dorms. There are usually police officers walking on campus or patrolling. It is always best to be smart but KU is a relatively safe and secure campus.

Slow and No Free Printing
The wireless access has just reached the dorms on campus this year. The speed of the computers in the libraries on campus are slow at best. It can take up to ten minutes for a computer to log on. Printing is not wireless and is not free. It can be hard to print on campus because of the lack of computers in the libraries; especially during busy hours, such as lunch.

Multitude of Opportunities
There are so many people, groups and activities to become involved with at KU. There are always free lectures, programs and volunteer activities. You have to throw yourself into whatever event sounds interesting and fun. There are always new opportunities to meet new people and expand your resume.
