The Middle
KU has mostly middle class students. This is not a complaint, simply a fact. If you do not fall in that same category it is not obvious to the other students. KU is very supportive for those who need the extra help in the funding department. The Endowment Association particularly helps in that area. You can get loans from the donations alumni have given. They really do a nice job of making sure you can stay in school no matter where you come from.

Not Bad, Not Great
I am a very picky eater. that being said, take my opinion lightly. I am also a vegetarian and they do have some options for me. Mrs. E's is a bit lacking in verity and quality. the studio is good most of the time. the market and the underground are the best but you will be paying for it. My advice?...When in doubt get the hummus.

Good Times
I have found that there is a very lively nightlife in Lawrence. It is always a good time to hop on safe bus from the dorms and see where the night takes you. If you are 21 there are the mass street bars and when there are good deals people will be there. The Granada has a lot of shows come through it too. overall, if you look for fun you will find it.
