A Bit of Everything
At Marquette there's a bunch of different kinds of people, there is a group for everyone. I'm an athlete at school so typically I'm with my team, but I have plenty of different acquaintances from my classes. Generally everyone is pretty nice, too.

It's Wisconsin
Marquette is in Wisconsin so obviously alcohol is a pretty big deal, but if it's not your thing people won't really pressure you too much. There have been some drugs, but people almost always get busted and the policy is taken pretty seriously.

Smooth as Butter
I have had good experiences with financial aid at school. They're all pretty efficient and make the application process for scholarships, etc easy to understand.
