Health & Safety at Clemson University

A

Awesome Campus

I always feel safe on Clemson's campus. The dorms lock at night so that nobody can get in unless they are escorted or live there, and I know that there are always police on duty. Also, there are emergency police phones all around campus so you can alert the police and be quickly located in case of an emergency. The police aren't too hard on us, but they do their job to make sure we are always safe.

Off-Campus Dining at Clemson University

A+

Look at Downtown!

Clemson's actual campus has a few places that are good to eat regularly and some late night stops. However, downtown Clemson flows right onto campus, so a lot of students go down there for a new taste. There's a lot of variety and most of it is well priced. Cookout is a favorite because it stays open til 4 am! There's also a Starbucks and 3 Spoons (a froyo spot), right down the street that we love!

Campus Housing at Clemson University

B+

It's All About Location

The freshmen dorms aren't terrible with all things considered. Clemson House is normally considered the best dorm in campus because it's an old hotel. However I know there's a lot of downfalls with it because of how old the building is. Johnstone is one of the oldest dorms on campus, but a lot of people hang out there because it's right in the heart of campus. Surrounding apartment complexes are really nice but kind of expensive. You end up paying for location.
