Binghamton University offers both a fantastic Liberal Arts education for those students looking for a broad start to their higher education, but there are also several schools tailored to meet the needs of students who are ready to really specialize and break out into a field. The School of Management is always rated one of the highest in the country, the Decker School of Nursing has the most up and coming technology to bring hands on education to a new level and the Watson School of Engineering has a staff that could teach you everything you need to know to build a bridge or create new medical technology. There are also a wealth of resources for students through the Discovery Program, Career Center, and Volunteer Center, there are opportunities all over the place if you're willing to look for them. Things are competitive and academically rewarding here.

Could Never Complain
Campus maintains a blue light system and provides an escort service to students staying out late. Campus police are continuously patrolling the campus and are easily reachable. Certain parts of campus are very enclosed and can sometimes be a bit creepy, but that's when the common sense of never walking alone comes in. I've never felt unsafe on campus.

As Diverse as It Gets
There are 15,000 students at Binghamton University, and we're all different. There are several student organizations that specifically focus on our differences and racial/ethnic diversity. We have a large LGBQ student body that are very well supported, as well as student unions that include the Haitian Student Union to the Asian Student Union and everyone is always welcome. Binghamton is somewhere you'll find it easy to fit in, no matter what.
