Atmosphere at HU
HU is a great school surrounded by so much history and politics and I would encourage all students to travel outside of the comfort zone of HU and travel to other campuses and visit all the sites and opportunities that DC has to offer.

Expensive
The apartments around Howard are extremely expensive, its best if students live further away from campus because its a little cheaper but it is almost a must that one has a car especially with the unpredictable DC weather.

Shuttles
The shuttle service is great on campus. Although it isn't as timely, the service has recently added the UTC shuttle which is available to students who have to live off campus.
