Special Study Options
There are numerous special study options offered at UNLV. Every student is assigned one of many academic advisors, and there are more than enough programs that aid in the studying process. The Writing Center is dedicated in helping students in improving their writing skills, which are skills needed in everyday life. Also, tutoring is available EVERYWHERE and cover up all major courses. If a student is having a problem with managing time for studying, The Academic Advisement Center is always available to assist with such issues. If the student has personal problems that may affect his studying, his Academic Advisor is always available to help with one-on-one communication. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas has top-of-the-line study programs, and they are all highly effective.

Need for a Personal Computer
Personal Computers are almost completely unnecessary at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. There are computer resources available throughout the campus. There are even computer labs in the dorms, so accessibility would never be a problem for a student. This also makes it easier for college professors, in the sense that they wouldn't have to deal with excuses as to why some students don't have their typed assignment, because computers and printers are available everyday.

Campus Safety
There are many strict rules set into play here at UNLV. I find it to be a very safe environment because of such rules. First of all, we have our OWN police department, strictly for the university. They are accessible 24/7 and have numerous emergency callings set up throughout the campus. For the students on campus, there are struct rules on underage drinking and smoking. Automatic eviction takes place if any of these occur, and this causes a safer community for us students.
