Big City Lights
Las Vegas is a city that is known world-wide for its amazing tourist attractions and of course gambling opportunities. UNLV is a school that is centered in the midst of all Las Vegas has to offer. Students here focus on their studies more than most would expect them too. The strongest rivalry ties we have is the university just north of us, UNR. The commercial side to sin city is just as fun as the educational!

You Want It, Vegas Has It
I wish I could say drugs aren't typically used by students, but that would be a lie. Not all but most students do have access to many types of drugs, and also take part in them themselves. Drinking is probably the most popular drug on campus but just be aware of the bad influences you might run into if surrounded by negativity.

Too Hot to Walk or Bike
Of course it being the desert out here. The key source of transportation is to own a car. During the summer it can be a health risk to walk or bike to and from campus, but if you're just strolling through campus it might not be as bad. As long as you don't stay in the harsh weather conditions too long.
