Off-Campus Dining at VT
For Blacksburg being such a small town, the restaurants available are pretty good. Keep in mind that the food on campus is very god and that if you do go off campus, it'll probably just be for variety, not to satisfy your need for real food everyday. Personally, my favorite off campus dining is at Zorba's, a nice little Greek restaurant with amazing gyros! Try one!

V Parking
I don't actually have a car myself, but many of my friends do. Apparently, your choices range from getting a spot in the Cage and walking all the way to campus, or risk wasting your time driving around and finding a closer spot. I just ride my bike, although we'll see how that works in the Blacksburg snow.

Getting Into the Bio Program at VT
I really don't think it was that much of a hassle to get into the Tech Bio program. The admission was the same for all other majors, except Engineering, Architecture, and HNFE, which have special requirements. In all, just have a good grade average, good SAT scores, and good essays. Not much of a help, but I really don't think it was any different then getting into any of the other majors.
