Girls at VT
Girls as a whole at VT are pretty attractive, what you might expect at a southern school. The reason they do not get a higher grade is that for the most part they tend to be stuck up. If you can work around the superficiality you'll be fine if you can't, the girls of VT may not be for you.

Parking Is Terrible
Parking at VT is a nightmare. IT is almost impossible to find a spot and when you do don't linger there for a while. Cars are ticketed very often so try not to leave your car in a space for too long.

Bad Weather
The weather is fairly bad at VT. IT rains almost every week. It's in the mountains so expect to see some snow but don't think that classes will be cancelled. So be prepared to trek through snow to get to class. Overall though it is beautiful in the summer and the spring however.
