On Campus at LSU
The Louisiana State University campus has people varying of different cultures. It definitely doesn't represent Baton Rouge as a whole which can seem very one sided. You see many types of students from different places in the world. At the same time it can be very segregated, although not on purpose. It seems it's taken the culture in the south longer to integrate than other parts of the country. Even so, one can still see many different friend groups studying or eating together.

Reasonable Parking
I personally don't have a car but my friends do. Most of the time it's easy to find a parking spot, but LSU is considered a walking campus already. So it's easier to just walk everywhere rather than rely on parking, especially on game days.

Convenient Busing
The campus has special transit that has no cost and that you can call to pick you up wherever. It's extremely convenient for a night out or for traveling across campus
