Northern Illinois is set right in the heart of Dekalb, Illinois. To say that the college makes up the whole town is an understatement. Unless you search far and wide, you probably wont find much to do in dekalb. Thats where being creative and making your own fun comes in.

Strictness
The police and the CA group have zero tolerance. First time offenders dont get a letter home, but get pretty big fines. Most of the times, you just get fined a lot. Just dont do the most and you'll probably get off the hook

Pretty Good
Public Transportation is pretty good. There's nowhere in dekalb that you want to go to that a bus cant reach. And for those late nights with no ride, you can call for a ride. But the bus is ugly so its kind of embarrassing
