Facilities at Michigan State University

B

MSU Facilities

Many buildings and residence halls, like Holden hall, have been remodeled and are really nice. The more original, older buildings give the campus an old vintage like feel, which is cool. Most of the staff is really nice and helpful. Sometimes I wonder how some of these students got in to MSU, or even graduated High School. They seem to lack common sense or even a brain for that matter. Some of the students are a bit pretentious, dumb, and stuck up, but others are generally nice. MSU offers a lot of campus activities. As a commuter, the parking is a bit expensive, but expected. The tuition is also extremely expensive. For all the money I am paying, I would like for there to be a better wireless internet service. The one they have now isn't as strong in some parts of the main campus. Sometimes I will loose a connection in the middle of class, then after 10 minutes will get it back.

Parking at Michigan State University

C+

Limited Choices, High Costs

There are limited choices for commuter parking. The cost is high in some lots, like the P lot in front of the International Center.

Weather at Michigan State University

A-

Unpredictable Michigan Weather

As a Michiganian, I am use to the unpredictable Michigan weather. One day its sunny and 50 degrees, the next day its snowing and 20 degrees. As long as you wear enough layers and are prepared for any type of weather you shouldn't be too affected by the weather. It is definitely cold and not fun to walk to class in the winter months. However, walking during the spring and summer months is great.
