I have never had a problem...
I have never had a problem accessing my professors outside of class. Most are easygoing, accessible during their office hours, and interested in helping, as long as you put in the effort. They're not going to help if you don't ask. Dickinson is definitely known for its language programs and political science program. I know its reputation as one the best poli sci/liberal arts colleges was the big draw for me.

I'm definitely a fan of the dorms...
I'm definitely a fan of the dorms on Morgan Field. We're close to the HUB and the academic quad. While dorms in the Quads are closer to the gym and the dance studio, I am definitely trying to stay on Morgan Field next year.

Coming from a small town,...
Coming from a small town, Dickinson College is pretty diverse to me. For example, my roommate is from Shanghai, China. We do have a reputation of affluent WASPS, but I feel that there is a good diversity—you just have to seek it out. Dickinson definitely leans left, but there is a decently strong Republican presence on campus.

Carlisle is what most describe as...
Carlisle is what most describe as your typical small town. Coming from an even smaller town, I feel that Carlisle is actually pretty big. here is a huge range of restaurants in town, from sushi to Thai to Japanese noodles to Italian. Harrisburg is about a half-hour away, where there is a train station to just about anywhere, like New York and DC.

Carlisle has a lot of different restaurant options from your typical sports bars, to thai food, japanese noodles, and traditional italian.

Typical PA Weather
We get four varied seasons at Dickinson. Hot summers, breezy fall, cold winter and rainy spring. Something for everyone!
