I chose this school because it was an excellent starting point for college. There is a lot of availability in classes and class times and all of the professors are very willing to help the students. The costs were all up front and manageable. The school also provides multiple transfer sheets to local 4-year colleges, so you know what courses will transfer from school to school. The school also has a very helpful online system that can give the student access to all of their records, grades, and payments.

Online Work
The school has a special system called Angel that you can access your online courses through. It is very easy to navigate because everything is seperated into tabs. There is also an e-mail system through this program that allows you to easily communicate with the professor. Many professors, even those without online courses, use this system to input grades and all students can access this program even if they are not taking an online class to check their grades.

Student Body
Due to this school being a community college, there is a lot of diversity in age as well as race and other differences. The students are willing to help people find their way around campus and try to be very friendly towards others. There are many clubs and organizations on campus to promote diversity and awareness. For example, the school has a Multi-cultural center, where all students are welcome and there is a LBGT club for students to learn or talk about their experiences. I beleive that this school is a great stepping off point for college students.
