Greek Life at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

B

Greeks Are in, but Not Everything

Being Greek will increase your social life, who you know, what events you participate in, etc. But, in all honesty, most Sororities and Fraternities are drinking-centered. If you dont love to party, itll be an interesting acclamation to the Greek life. Fraternities are more party-centered than sororities, but all include lots of involvement but neither are too much of a status thing.

Parking at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

A

Wait, We Need to Park?

There is quite a bit of parking available for students out in far lots or in Pay lots or day lots across campus. There is a bus system that runs all over both the St Paul and the Minneapolis campuses, so you are sure to get to where you need to be. The busses are free after an $18 transportation fee included in tuition... a definite perk. The school also offers city bus and light rail passes for only $90 for the whole semester and they include two $25 taxi waivers- a great system!
