So Much to Do
South Orange itself is not that big, but it does have many little shops. The main thing is the train station, which is only about 1 mile down the road and not very expensive. New York City is about 30 minutes by train and there are many attractions there.

Only Safe on Campus
I only feel safe on campus. If I step foot off campus at I always walk with a group of at least two friends. When any of my friends are at the train station in the evening of at night, we walk in a group of about six people to get them. All too often I get emails saying that someone got robbed a gunpoint down the road in South Orange.

Ok Parking
The permit doesn't cost too much compared to other school but the parking is always so far away. Sometimes you may even be better off parking off campus becaues there is not much of a difference.
