Being a Humanities Major

I am pursuing Humanities at Brigham Young University, or "joining the human conversation," as BYU says. "We discern other voices in the human conversation when we become fluent in one or more of the four-dozen languages taught in the college...Literature, philosophy, art, music, and dance also are languages." There are about 25 undergraduate programs and 10 graduate programs in the college. The internship opportunities are endless, and they encourage students to take the opportunity to study abroad. The whole program is a great experience, with a bottomless amount of knowledge.

Diversity at Brigham Young University

C

Generally White Mormons

It's an LDS-owned, Utah school. About 85% of the school is white. Of course, nearly all of the students are Mormon. I would guess a lot of students are straight, Republican, and come from an averagely well-off family.
