Atmosphere of MSU
MSU is a big university. It's very diverse and chance to meet new people and join plenty of activities. Most of the attraction spots are on Grand River Ave (walking distance), and the shopping center has a bus that will take you right there.

They inform the students about information of apartments near the university, and they sound convenient with most of them being very close but some cons to having an apartment are having extra expenses while being a student: bills, having to make your meals, ext.

Very Diverse
I would say Msu is a predominantly white school but has plenty of asians and a few black and hispanic students. My first semester here there were a few incidents of racial hate towards black students; someone wrote "no niggers allowed" on a students door and a few other examples. In my hall i felt accepted as individual.
