Campus Strictness at Princeton University

A

There If You Need Them

I think the party scene at Princeton is great. In my short time here I haven't witnessed any campus police involvement. Most students are expected to act responsibly and all freshman are required to complete an alcohol education program. Drug use is not tolerated.

Overall Experience at Princeton University

A+

The Best!

I can't imagine being anywhere else. I always dreamt of attending Princeton, and the experience has lived up to my expectations in every way. The campus is beautiful and the people are diverse and interesting. When you have time for some night life there is a wide variety of things to do. Princeton has many Division I sporting events, there are many levels of performing arts events, and the eating clubs are the best places to party. As an engineering student my classes are extremely challenging, but the university provides a plethora of resources to ensure academic success. I'm working harder than I ever have in my life, and loving every minute of it.

As a freshman I really can't speak personally on this subject. Upperclassmen that I know have interned with companies like Facebook, Time/Warner and the Boston Red Sox. I am currently looking into some internship opportunities for the summer.

Athletics at Princeton University

B+

Great Participation

Princeton may not have the best sports teams in Divison I, but over half of the student population is involved in one sport or another. The student body is very supportive of the various teams and some of them had very successful seasons this past year. The Men's Squash team won the national championship in February, and the Women's Basketball team went went to the NCAA Regionals ranked 24th in the nation. This was the first time any Ivy League women's sports team had ever been nationally ranked. Sports plays a huge role in student life at Princeton.

Drug Safety at Princeton University

B+

Prevalent

There is a lot of drinking that goes on at various times at Princeton. I would not say that peer pressure has anything to do with it, since there are quite a few students who elect to live substance free and no one thinks any less of them for doing so. Aside from some marijuana use, drugs are pretty much nonexistant. The majority of students here are involved and sports and, as such, have no interest in drug usage. The university doesn't strictly condone the use of alcohol, but they don't do much to prohibit it either. They also have policies in place to deal with students who need medical attention due to overindulgence.

Guys & Girls at Princeton University

Wow

I love the whole scene at Princeton, probably because of the diversity of the student body. You have people from around the world, rich and poor, all beautiful in their own way. I cannot judge someone on their looks alone, and everyone here has something that makes them unique and attractive.
