Improving

The situation is improving. BU cut waste by eliminating a number of computer labs that ultimately proved to be unnecessary (most bring laptops, and printing is available in dorms and libraries). WiFi access is being rapidly expanded, though probably several years too late.

Not Much of a Partyer

I was never one to go out much, but you're in the city of Boston, and you have all of its resources at your disposal if your 21+. Not an A because the 18-21 crowd doesn't have all too many options.

The Highlight of My Life.

BU is what you make of it. Take good professors and challenging courses. Broaden your mind -- that's what you're here for! College isn't just about getting into graduate programs or high paying positions -- BU is an enormous research institution with more opportunities than you can imagine. 11,500 students live on campus with a diverse background (and one of the largest international populations). Get to know as many new people as you can -- forget the idea that college is about partying, getting drunk, and getting a diploma so you have a job. Allston Slums

Most students live in Allston slums, but there are plenty of opportunities if you want to venture off-campus. I'm a big fan of on-campus housing.
