Great Professors
I came to Northern Illinois University because told me about how great the professors were. The academic life if wonderful and teachers are always available for any type of help. They also offer extra credit if you go to their office, which is quite an advantage.

Downtown Dekalb
Off-campus dining is awesome. If you are ever in the area, going to downtown DeKalb is a excellent decision. You are able to get a good mean within a great price range. Try O'Leary's. They have the best ribs and onion rings. Defiantly worth going. Their environment is extremely friendly and the people are very welcoming.

Football
The sports at Northern are pretty competitive. We call ourselves, Huskies. We have a wonderful football team that currently won the MAC championship. Tailgating is awesome and the game itself is pretty cool to go to.
