Definitely worth joining. It is a time commitment, but the people you meet make all of that worth it.

Monterey is a small lively city compared to other bigger city in Cali, if you're the reserve type who likes staying in, but doesn't mind going out every once in a while, then it would be a good match

lol no if you want lots of parties go to eastbay or chico many parties there especially at eastbay!they have when and where the events will be posted everywhere

There are different rush events that are held at the beginning of each semester that will help you get to know each house. You can find a schedule on the msu website in the greek life section

You can also go to catapalooza at the beginning of the year and talk to the different groups.

When you visit you can ask the askus desk. If your on a tour you can ask your leader.

Yes you should to get your name out there and meet people but Not many sororities will take you unless you have a 3.0. You can rush the next year a lot of people do that

Or you could get your grades up this last semester of HS. Chi O is a good house at Bama too.

It is very difficult to get into a good house with that low of a GPA. Most houses cut at 3.0 after the first two days of rush. There are so many girls rushing, it's easy to narrow it down that way.

Aunts are usually not a legacy connection, but it may be different for some sororities. Chi O maintains one of the highest GPAs and they are very particular about the grades of the women they pledge. Frankly, they will not look at a 2.5. I've heard their minimum is a 3.5.

I interviewed with Denver and I found that the questions are more personal. They ask you questions like, what does integrity mean to you, what is on your bucket list, where you stood with the political campaign, and your experience with diversity. I don't know how much the interview counts towards your application but goodluck! :]

Just to give you another perspective, I never did the interview and still got in. So I guess I'm saying don't stress.

North and south hedges.

Really any of the coed dorms are your best bet, so North, South, or Roskie

Roske is the best - also look for getting on a floor with similar interest - outdoors, honors etc. They do a lot of things together and you meet a lot of people with similar interests

The best dorms to live in is North and South Hedges. Many interesting people and easier to make friends.

Guys on MSU campus are pretty bundled up most of the time but, there are some cute ones. And Greek life... I have no idea. Sorry.

I'm too old for most of them, being a non-traditional post-baccalaureate student- and I never cared for greek life much.

There are lots of cute cowboys! As well as some boys you wouldn't think lived in Montana.

there's a lot of cute guys, most of them are pretty crunchy (hippie-like). most of them live in Roskie. but the greek life sucks. the girls are all pretty trashy and mean.
