Tech Guys
The guys at Tech are very handsome & have that West Texas charm that you can't find at any other big D1 school. Many of them come from small towns & have a bit of a twang which most people find delightful.

Dipping & Drinking Are More Popular
Most people don't use drugs at Tech, but if they do its usually smoking. Many of the guys here dip, which is far more popular & along with drinking

Lubbock or Leave It
I loved my experience here at Tech. Coming from a big city like Houston, it was nice to have a change of pace when I came to Tech. Its a much smaller town, but not too small to the point that there's nothing to do. Everyone seems really nice here & is always ready to welcome you with open arms. There were so many things that the university had to offer that I always had something to do. We have this saying out here "Lubbock or Leave It" ...and in my case i decided to stay.
