The School Is Definitely Making a Move for the Better

Susquehanna is definitely a liberal arts college. Here we love to learn about different cultures and backgrounds, although placed in the middle of Pennsylvania, those of minority status might feel a bit uncomfortable as the race population is undoubtedly white. With that being said though, the school does do a great job of marketing itself as a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds and ethnicities. I enjoy this alot about the school, and think that it is an important starting block to build a more diverse environment for students and faculty. Also, the school now requires all student to do some sort of trip abroad, so they heavily enforce traveling to other cultures and learning of the different societies around the globe. Even here in the US. Susquehanna is definitely making an honest effort to become more diverse, despite their remote setting. I approve of their ambition.
